Gameplay

- Would you consider yourself an aggressive or conservative player? Why? Conservative at the beginning of the game, because I want to be in good with everyone on my tribe obviously.

I tend to become more aggressive as the game goes on, if I see something I want I will usually go after it. It's too boring if you play the whole game conservative.

You have to take some risks to win the game.

- What is more important to you: Getting yourself to the end or getting your alliance to the end?

I think it works both ways, you need your alliance to get to the end for you to have a better chance to get o the finale, but in the end it's about getting only yourself to the final 2. Push comes to shove you have to throw you alliance under the bus if it moves you a step closer to winning.

- If you had to choose between being a shady backstabber or loyal friend, which would you choose?

Shady backstabber, it's more fun I think. I don't like to backstab people, but if it's what I have to do to get my way then so be it. I'll find new friends if they're too stuck up and bitter towards me. Fuck them.

- Do you ever think an "under the radar" strategy is justified?
Again, boring.

Under the radar is for people who have no personality. They tend to not talk to anyone, they go with majority of the group and have no opinion on anything. Sure, it could get you a long ways in a game, but I doubt anyone wants to play with that person or even award them for being a boring slut all season long.

- Would you ever sacrifice yourself so someone else stays in the game?

No

- What is your vision of an All-Star Player? Somebody who has a glowing personality. Makes the game entertaining and fun to watch, has a good game strategy and get's pretty far into the game. Someone like me!

- Is there anything else you would like to discuss about your strategy heading into the game?
I think I'll be a social player who thinks about the numbers and always is on their toes thinking 3-4 moves ahead of anybody else. Being in the middle to where I'm not a threat but I'm not a follower either. Towards the end, becoming more aggressive to take them bitches out.

- What type of people do you typically trust? People who get to know me, and talk to me like a normal person. I don't want people to talk to be all fucking night long. Just a normal conversation here and there would be nice.

- On the flip side, what qualities make you not trust someone? Boring bitches who say nothing, have no opinion, who don't have a back bone. Under the radar people, sketchy people who tell me one thing and then go say another thing to someone else.

yes, I hate people that are the ones that never stay active. It makes the game a lot less fun for the rest of us that are playing. I do try and write a lot of confessionals although sometimes I do forget. Lately I have gotten into a system where as long as I write one after every round or whenever something good happens that my confessional will be kept up nicely.

yes i am. I work monday wednesdays and fridays but those generally aren't a problem since i'm free every evening. Tuesdays I'm in class until 7 pm and wouldn't be able to do a live competition until after that and Thursdays I'm in class until 11 so I'd be hard for me to make a live challenge on Thursdays. Every other evening I'm generally able to make it as long as theres enough notice given.

- Besides your work schedule, what days/times are you most busy in your personal life?

Weekends are generally a little busier. Especially Friday nights but like i said as long as theres enough time given I should be able to make it to things.

- Are you planning a vacation or otherwise computer-limited event that may halter your activity within the time frame of this game?

I am going away in May for a week. from the 16th- I forget what day but It's only a week. I will/should have internet access while I'm away. My brother does have a computer so if it comes to that I'll just steal his.

- How often are you on AIM?

a lot, probably toooo much sometimes. I'm almost always signed on sometimes even when I'm not at my computer. One thing I generally pride myself on in games is my social gameplay. although some people are just too hard to be nice to.

- Based off your performance in previous ORGs you've played, how would you rate yourself activity wise on a scale of 1-10?

10, I hate the people that sign up for a game and then there's a ton of inactives. As i said before it makes it less fun to play the game and one thing I will never do is become an inactive in a game.

No, I haven't. So I guess I cant really give a reason since I never have.

Gameplay

- Would you consider yourself an aggressive or conservative player? Why?

I can't really say that I'm one or the other. I feel that I could fit into both categories just depending on the round or what's going on. For example I'm an agressive player in the sense that I don't take anybody's shit. If I don't like you, I''ll tell you. Well in games like this usually Ill just be a total cunt about you in my confessional and then find ways to get you out of the game so that you stop annoying me. I'm also a conservative player in the sense that if you annoy me, but you also annoy about half of the rest of the cast, why should I be the one that calls you out on things. I'd just make somebody else do it and in the end come out looking like the good guy because I made somebody else do my dirty work.

- What is more important to you: Getting yourself to the end or getting your alliance to the end?

Again, I don't really feel I can pick one or the other. Yes if it comes down to me or my closest ally and if I backstab my closest ally because I will get to the end then hell yeah I'm going to do it. But if I can't get to the end but me leaving will get my alliance to the end, then thats the next best thing for me. At least then if i'm on the jury I can vote for somebody I like.

- If you had to choose between being a shady backstabber or loyal friend, which would you choose?

Hmm decisions decisions. To most i'd probably just be a cunt and a shady backstabber. But to a few people I would be a loyal friend. In games I do like to make a few loyal friends and then just go from there. I may even pretend to be friends with everybody and then just pick them off one by one.

- Do you ever think an "under the radar" strategy is justified?

No, because it really isn't. I hate when people use an under the radar strategy and get to the final two or three. I mean really, what the fuck did you do to get there. I feel that it's more of a nicer way of putting "your a good player i'll leech onto you so you take me to the finals."

- Would you ever sacrifice yourself so someone else stays in the game?

Honestly, I don't think I would. I'm in this game to play it and win it. I may want to come out of it with a few friends but other than that I don't think i'd sacrifice myself so that somebody else can stay in the game. i'm not that selfless.

- What is your vision of an All-Star Player?

A player that is good at some aspect of the game, whether they're a challenge whore, a social player etc. They also have to at least make jury. I mean really a pre-juror as an allstar would be a little ridiculous.

- Is there anything else you would like to discuss about your strategy heading into the game?

I have a few different strategies that I tend to use. Some that I have previously mentioned such as: making people do my dirty work, being nice to peoples faces and then picking them off and also working with just a few other people. I can also be a challenge whore and depending on the cast I can be a total flirt using boys to do what I want and then spitting them back out again <3

- What type of people do you typically trust?

the nice ones. I generally am a nice person. I may not seem it, but I am. I trust the ones that come to me and can actually hold a conversation. I also trust ones that show me that they can be trusted. Sometimes I won't trust you until you prove to me that you are trustworthy.

- On the flip side, what qualities make you not trust someone?

somebody who's shady. who pretends like that they really aren't out to get you and of course I can be like this but at least I can disguise it. Some people aren't able to pull that off. I also hate the ones that blame you for not being able to hold a conversation when its as much their fault as it is yours.

I can't really say that I hate them too much because I have had pre-game alliances in games before. I can say though that I do hate them when I'm in involved in one. Depending on the people in the alliance they can make it hard to get to know them and try and become friends with them.

No, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and the idea that people are able to change. Some don't in fact many dont but i'm not going to judge somebody before I at least try to get to know them.

Depends on the friend. Some people I would avoid and pretend I wasn't in the game just to avoid aligning with them while others yes I do think that we'd instant align. It would all depend on the person.

Hm that all depends on the person and the situation. If I want to cause drama i call them out publicly. If they're somebody that I at least somewhat like then id confront them privately but I definitely wouldnt ignore it.

Somebody thats trustworthy and loyal and that has the same intentions of the game as yours. Of course at some point you have to have more than one ally in order to have numbers to control votes but you have to make sure you have one main ally because if you dont then your chances of that person taking you to the finals get slimmer and slimmer.

i love them all. as long as the competitions are fun i dont mind. while at times especially thursdays it would be hard for me to do live competitions i dont mind them either. because after awhile all the same comps tend to get annoying.

I'm good at both aspects. I loveeee puzzles. Unless they're sliding puzzles those would make me want to kill myself. But i'm also good at endurance and speed. I think it all depends on who I'm up against in the end.

No, I feel that if you throw a competition then your putting yourself in jeopardy. In a game like this you can neverr feel safe from a vote and in order to keep yourself safe you have to make sure you win competitions.

both, I feel that strength in social game helps when it comes to the jury they're more likely to vote for you if you at some point made a personal connection with them but i also feel that if you have a strength in competitions then thats always a plus too as long as you dont over do it and make it seem like your a gigantic threat of some sort.

Yes, 100%. Inactive players annoy the crap out of me, especially when active players are voted out over inactive players. I am always an active player and there have been times where I have gotten voted out before an inactive and that just pisses me off. I always write detailed confessionals as well because, as I host myself, I know how fun is it to read all the players confessionals. And as a player, I love going into everyone’s confessionals at the end of the season to see what they were really thinking/planning throughout the game.

Yes, I am enrolled in school and currently work. I go to school on Mondays and Wednesdays from 730 AM until 12 PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 AM until 3:45 PM, and Fridays from 11 AM until 12 PM. School will be over mid-May. I mainly work on the weekends, usually the early shift, so 6 AM until 3 PM.

- Besides your work schedule, what days/times are you most busy in your personal life?
Other than school and work, I am basically available when I need to be. The only other constant thing in my life is going to the gym and I try to do that at least three times a week. I usually go on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 3 PM.

- Are you planning a vacation or otherwise computer-limited event that may halter your activity within the time frame of this game?
The only vacation I have planned is at the end of July, so unless the game is still going on at that time I will have no reason for my computer access to be limited.

- How often are you on AIM?
Honestly, I only go on AIM when I need to be. From what I have heard it is essential to use AIM as a primary method of communication in this series, so if casted I will be on AIM whenever I am on my computer.

- Based off your performance in previous ORGs you've played, how would you rate yourself activity wise on a scale of 1-10?
9.6. I feel that I am a very active player and sometimes put ORGs before other priorities I have in life, such as homework. The games I am the most dedicated to are the games that I like the most, but when I am dedicated to a game I am dedicated 110%. Most games I play I get very into, and since I don’t play that many anymore, I am always completely dedicated to the ones I am in.

- Have you ever quit a game? For what reason?
No, I have never quit a game. Nor have I ever considered quitting one. I take ORGs very seriously and I feel it is important to give it your all in a game even when the chips are down for you. I also see the game as a reflection of the type of person you are, and we were all taught as children that quitters never win so I bring that philosophy into my gameplay.

- Would you consider yourself an aggressive or conservative player? Why?
I would definitely consider myself an aggressive player. I am not afraid to stand out in the crowd and make bold moves when I need to. Once I’m in a game and we hit the merge, everyone knows what side I’m on and who I want to see gone. Premerge I am not as aggressive as I am postmerge, but I am aggressive in the sense that I give it my best effort to ensure my tribe wins immunity. If we don’t win immunity, I am aggressive in the strategy aspect of the game to ensure what the person I want voted off actually gets voted off. That is just the type of player I am. I don’t respect the UTR or floater strategy, and therefore don’t employ it.

- What is more important to you: Getting yourself to the end or getting your alliance to the end?
Definitely getting myself to the end. While alliances are important to each individuals success, sometimes alliances crumble or are overtaken by other, bigger alliances. In this case, I would not hesitate to jump ship or throw one of my allies under the bus to ensure that I stayed one more round. If it works out that my alliance goes to the end together, that is great, but I will not go out of my way to ensure that happens especially if it puts me in a vulnerable position.

- If you had to choose between being a shady backstabber or loyal friend, which would you choose?
If I had to choose I would rather be a loyal friend, but it usually turns out to be the opposite. I start off playing the game forming friendships which turn into alliances, I stay loyal to those friends and allies for as long as I can. As you can see in the above question, however, sometimes things happen in the course of the game that I didn’t anticipate and in order to adapt to those changes my strategy of being a loyal friend shifts into a strategy of being a shady backstabber. And I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

- Do you ever think an "under the radar" strategy is justified?
See three questions above, and no, I didn’t see this question when I wrote my answer for the other one. I think an UTR strategy is employed by weak players with less of a personality than some of the big characters in the game. Even if they try to be aggressive players or leaders, they are overshadowed by others. However, some people go into the game knowing that they are going to employ an UTR strategy and I do not agree with that type of gameplay. That is just not the type of player I am. I don’t believe that an UTR strategy encompasses the motto of outwit, outplay, outlast and I do not feel like an UTR player deserves to win the game of Survivor.

- Would you ever sacrifice yourself so someone else stays in the game?
Never. Doesn’t matter if you are my greatest ally or my worst enemy, I would never give up my spot. I love to win and that is the goal I set for myself in every ORG I play. I cannot think of any circumstances in which I would even consider sacrificing myself so someone else could stay in the game.

- What is your vision of an All-Star Player?
Would it be cocky to say me? I don’t care. Me. I truly believe that the qualities I display in a game are those of an AS player. Some of these qualities include: doing well in challenges, playing a great social game, and orchestrating blindsides at tribal council. Multiple hosts must agree with me because I have been picked for a variety of AS games in the past.

- Is there anything else you would like to discuss about your strategy heading into the game?
Yes. Since all games are different, it is impossible to accurately plan out your strategy before the game begins. With that being said, I reserve the right to adapt my strategy if need be, if I am casted of course, once the game starts.

Interaction

- What type of people do you typically trust?
I typically trust players that are most like me. I tell it to you how it is, and I respect when others do the same in return. Obviously they could be lying, and so could I, but it is much easier to trust someone who is confident in what they say than a wishy washy floater who is playing both sides. Trust leads to alliances, and I prefer to work with players similar to me because I am a strong player. Many strong players working together has the potential to take the game by storm.

- On the flip side, what qualities make you not trust someone?
As I mentioned in the previous question, it is difficult for me to trust a floater. Floaters tend to end up in the swing vote position and I find it hard to convince this type of player to take my side. Floaters also tend to be anti-social and very quiet, and it is always the quiet ones you need to watch out for. If casted, it is this type of player that I will target in the early stages of the game so I do not need to worry about them down the road.

- What are your opinions on pre-game alliances?
Unfortunately, pre-game alliances in ORGs tend to exist more often than not. I try to avoid them, however, because I feel that it takes away from the genuine aspect of the game. Survivor takes a group of strangers and forces them to work together, and pre-game alliances defeat that purpose. Of course an AS season works differently, but since this is not an AS season, I don’t feel that pre-game alliances are acceptable.

- If you found out someone you didn't personally like was playing, would you automatically target them?
Not automatically, because they may bring something to the table that works to my advantage. For example, in the beginning stages of the game, someone I personally dislike may be a great asset in challenges. I would definitely keep my eye on this person and make sure they weren’t doing anything to harm my game, but I would not immediately target this person for the sole reason being that I do not like them.

- If you found out a friend of yours was playing, would you attempt to automatically align with them?
Once again, not automatically. As I mentioned above, I am not a fan of pre-game alliances so just because some is my friend does not mean I will automatically align with them. For all I know I could find out a friend of mine was playing halfway through the game and already have a set alliance going with no room for anyone else. I also know from personal experience that just because two friends are playing a game together, that does not mean they will align. They can try, but in some instances the game goes in a different direction and makes it impossible for the friends to work together.

- When something sketchy happens, do you: call them out publicly, confront them privately, or ignore it completely?
When something sketchy happens, I confront the person privately. If the issue can be worked out from there, then it is dropped, but if the person is being a complete ass about it then I get other people involved and it can turn in to a public conversation. I never ignore things, and although this might be one of my downfalls, I feel it is important to have accurate information about what is going on in the game and if others are going to ignore the situation I will be more than happy to step up and confront the shady individual.

- What do you think makes the perfect alliance?
I’m not so sure if there is such a thing as the perfect alliance because you can never fully trust anyone but yourself and alliances crumble more often than not. Some of the key aspects to a successful alliance, however, include communication, acts of loyalty, and fun. Communication is very important because you need everyone in the alliance to be correctly informed of the goals of the alliance. When communication fails, it usually means something is going wrong. Acts of loyalty prove that the other members of your alliance can be trusted to an extent because actions speak louder than words. At times, however, someone’s word may be all you have to go on and it is up to you whether or not you want to trust a person based on their word. The third aspect to a successful alliance, I believe, is fun. Alliances come from friendships, and one of the main elements of a friendship is fun. I believe it is important for alliance mates to have friendly conversation and thoroughly enjoy each others company because sometimes the game is too much to handle and you need an escape. Besides, there is only so much game you can talk especially in the early stages of the game when friendships and alliances are formed.

Competitions

- Do you prefer doing non-live, live, or sessions competitions?
Live competitions are my favorite, it is just so much more intense and realistic in my opinion. On the flip side, though, it can be difficult to find a time to accommodate everyone so non-live competitions are used more often. Sessions competitions are also fun, and from my experience, are not used very often. So when I get the chance to compete in a sessions competition it is a nice change. Only downside with them is that the host needs to be online for a while in order to accommodate all the players.

- Are you better at mental (questions, puzzles, problem solving) or physical (speed, skill, endurance) competitions?
I am definitely better at physical competitions. I am particularly good at speed competitions, and I don’t mind endurance competitions. The main reason I prefer physical competitions is because I HATE puzzles. Questions and problem solving aren’t that bad, but whenever I see a puzzle challenge I am not too thrilled about it. My worst nightmare in a game would be going into an immunity challenge that I knew I had to win and then finding out that it was a puzzle. FML.

- Do you believe in throwing competitions?
Oh no. One of my good friends thought he was in control of his tribe and wanted to get rid of a certain player for being dead weight in the challenges and causing drama within the tribe, so he convinced his tribe to throw the challenge. At tribal council he realized that his alliance was going to backstab him and ended up getting voted off. So for that reason I do not believe in throwing competitions. You are NEVER safe, even if you think you are, unless you have immunity.

- What is more important to you: Strength social game or strength in competitions?
Very tough question, but by a hair, strength social game is more important to me. You can win every single immunity challenge in the game and make it to the final tribal council, but if your social game was weak you are most likely going to lose. Winning competitions is not necessary to win this game, but it definitely makes the route to the end less bumpy. You need to play a good social game to make it anywhere in Survivor.

- How important to you is the person you get selected to play as?
It’s not all that important. As long as I’m playing as someone on my list I’ll be happy.

- Would you ever play as someone opposite of your own gender?
Yes, I am a guy and I usually play as girls. So of course.

- Would you quit this game if you are selected as someone you didn't prefer? (Yes, it has happened before.)
No, definitely not. Like I mentioned above as long as they are on my list I’ll be happy. And if the person isn’t on my list I’d still play as them as long as it’s not someone I absolutely hated.

Personal

- How'd you find out about URTV?
One of my good friends played in the most recent season of Big Brother and I heard all about it. From looking at the board I saw that it was a very intense and high class game, so I decided to apply to the newest installment.

- How old are you?

Yep I am!

- What, to you, makes an ORG fun?
To be fun an ORG has to have a good host, first and foremost, and from what I have seen I believe that requirement is fulfilled. Also a good cast, and based on the rigorous application process I’m certain an amazing cast will come out of it. Good challenges, lots of drama, and of course the game going your way makes it more fun than if you are in the minority.

- What are some of your favorite seasons of Survivor?
My favorite seasons are Africa, Marquesas, Amazon, China and Micronesia. The early seasons are some of my favorites because I think the show was more genuine back then, but starting with China I think the show has gone back to the way it used to be. At least that’s what I think. And I love Micronesia because I love Parvati.

- What are some of your favorite players of all time?
Colleen Haskell, Elisabeth Filarski, Kim Powers Lex van den Berghe, Neleh Dennis, Shii Ann Huang, Heidi Strobel, Darrah Johnson, Todd Herzog, Courtney Yates, Parvati Shallow, Corinne Kaplan, Erinn Lobdell, Natalie White.

- What are some of your most hated players of all time?
Tom Buchanan, Rupert Boneham, Ozzy Lusth, Yul Kwon, the whole Fiji cast minus Michelle Yi, James Clement, Ken Hoang, Shambo Waters,

- Who do you think played the best game in the history of the show?
Even though Parvati is my favorite player of all time, I think Todd played the game slightly better than her so I’m going to have to go with him. He came into the game from day one making moves to win and when you thought he was down and out he made moves to keep himself in the game. Not to mention he’s a hardcore Survivor fan himself. Would have loved to see him on Fans versus Favs, but China was one of the best seasons in a while for me and I think Todd was the reason for that.
