After a long walk, you finally get to the bay. The water is quite still, but you can hear the current in the wind. A lonely boat sits deep into sea, not a person in sight. Well, except for this gentleman. A local man sits in front of a canoe with a gaping hole in it.
Who are you?
The guy has been hanging around here for so long unprovoked and is surprised to see someone else here, especially a tourist. You explain the situation saying you're looking for the Hidden Immunity Idol. He doesn't seem to know what you're talking about. But you've traveled so long and you're not going to let one little thing get in front of you.
You begin to search around the immediate area, including the boat the man is sitting next to. Nothing. You take a small break and with the man just sitting there, you naturally decide to start conversation. Your first question - why the hell is he still out there.
This is the best fishing spot in the village, just nobody knows the right spot. People get impatient and go over to Kota Biak, but I like it here. Only problem, my boat is wrecked.
He points to his boat that you've already clearly examined. You look out and notice that lone boat floating out in the bay again. After a few silent moments, you ask about it.
That? I saw it out there this morning with a white man in it. I don't know what he was doing. Couple minutes later, a motorboat sped by and picked him up. I didn't think anything of it.
White man and a motorboat? Sounds like two characeristics of somebody else you know that should be in this area. You ask for more details, but he doesn't seem to know anything else. You go over to shore and get ready to swim.
What are you doing? You can't swim that. That boat is long gone.
As you look out further, he's probably right. The current is pushing the boat further and further. Why anybody would go through the effort of getting there for the idol is unknown. But your curiousity may be getting the better of you. You've made it this far, why turn back now?
You ask the man if he can help at all.
Like I said, my boat is busted. I could make a new one but you're going to have to pitch in and help.
Making shelter was hard enough, but a boat? You agree anyway.
Cool. Let's get to work. Names Lamek, by the way.
Help Lamek make the boat to continue on to the next stage of The Bay. To make the boat, you must complete this puzzle. You're making this boat from scratch, so this is going to be hard and strenious. You could always head back, but you better hurry now if you don't think you're up to the challenge.
Leave a screenshot of the completed puzzle somewhere in your Diary Room. The password to the next section will be on the puzzle. Even if you are able to make the password out, you are required to finish the puzzle to legitimately move on.
